Healthy and Wise
School Counselor
Participation
(2007-2008)
Each month, Healthy and Wise
focuses on safety, social and mental health topics. The school counselor at each campus is
encouraged to visit the classrooms using the Healthy and Wise curriculum and
provide additional information on the month’s featured topics. In addition, if the school is using the SPARK
Physical Education Programs (K-2 & 3-6) as a coordinated component with the
Healthy and Wise program, the “Inclusion” section in each binder provides
school counselors and staff helpful information and resources for teaching and
supporting special needs students.
